Your organisations on Home

What an organisation admin sees on Home - each organisation's numbers, activity calendar and course cards.

Home (/teaching) has a section for each active organisation you administer. If you teach courses yourself, your own courses come first and the organisation sections follow them. If you neither study nor teach in any course, you land on Home right after signing in and it shows your organisations only.

Each section carries the organisation’s name and covers every course and student of the organisation, including the courses you don’t work in. Manage courses opens Administration → Courses for that organisation.

Tile What it counts
Students Current students of the organisation’s active courses, each person once. Below: how many active courses there are.
Active students · 7 days Students who submitted code, took a quiz or uploaded an Excel file in the last 7 days.
Submissions · 7 days Code submissions and Excel uploads in the last 7 days.
Quiz attempts · 7 days Quiz attempts started in the last 7 days.

Under the last three tiles you see the change against the 7 days before (for example “+12% vs the previous 7 days”).

The calendar shows the organisation’s work on each day of the last 12 months: code submissions, quiz attempts and Excel uploads together. The brighter a square, the more work. Point at a day, or move between days with the arrow keys, to see how many of each kind it had. Days follow Lithuanian time.

  • It counts work in all of the organisation’s courses, archived ones included, so last school year’s work stays on the calendar.
  • It counts the courses’ current students only. Teachers’ own submissions and practice runs (Run samples, Run with custom input) don’t count.
  • It shows totals only: no student is named.

A card for each active course of the organisation, grouped by school year (the newest first, courses without a year last). They are the same cards as your own courses on Home:

  • Taken by: the groups attached to the course;
  • the number of students;
  • today’s submissions, and the submissions accepted and the students active today when there are any;
  • Next: the nearest deadline by each group’s schedule.

Select a card to open the course. Archived courses aren’t shown; find them under Administration → Courses with Show: Archived.

  • You see only organisations you are an admin of. A system administrator also sees only those here; the whole system’s numbers are in Administration → Statistics.
  • The admins of an archived organisation don’t see its section.
  • The numbers are kept for up to a minute and the calendar for up to 5 minutes, so work handed in a moment ago may take that long to appear. Unlike your own courses, these sections don’t update by themselves: open Home again to see newer numbers.
