My work
The home page with the work from all your courses – tests open now, problems you recently worked on, upcoming deadlines and recent results.
My work is the first page you see after signing in. It collects the work from every course you study in, so you don’t have to open each course on its own. It is at the top of the sidebar (address /home).
The header shows today’s date and how many problems are still open, and, when you study in several courses, how many courses there are.
students/learning/my-workThe page updates by itself: when a submission is checked or a teacher changes a deadline, you see the change without reloading.
Open now
Section titled “Open now”This section appears only while a test is running in which you still have open problems. A test is a topic whose mode is “Assessment” (see Topics and deadlines).
Each row shows:
- the topic’s title;
- how many problems are still open, e.g. “2 of 3 open”;
- the time window, e.g. “10:00–10:45”, or just the end, “Until 10:45”.
Rows are sorted by which test ends first. Select a row to open the course’s problem list.
Submission calendar
Section titled “Submission calendar”The calendar shows how many submissions you made each day over the last year. Its heading gives the total, e.g. “124 submissions in the last year”. The brighter a square, the more submissions that day.
It counts submissions and Excel uploads, not practice runs with the samples or your own input. You can pick a day in the calendar with the arrow keys.
Continue
Section titled “Continue”Up to six problems you worked on recently but haven’t solved yet. A problem appears here only once you submit a solution or upload a file; a draft or a practice run doesn’t add it.
Each card shows:
- the course and topic;
- the problem’s status and title;
- chips for the deadline, tests passed (e.g. “3/10”; for an Excel task, points), difficulty, “Files” (the program reads and writes files), “Excel”, “Assigned to you” or “Extra”;
- when you last tried (“Last attempt …”).
A programming problem’s card opens the code editor directly. An Excel task’s card opens the problem page.
Coming up
Section titled “Coming up”Topics with a deadline where you still have open problems, laid out in columns:
| Column | What goes in it |
|---|---|
| Overdue | The deadline passed within the last 7 days |
| Today and tomorrow | Due today or tomorrow |
| This week | Due within the next 7 days |
| Later | Due within the next 4 weeks |
A topic shows at most five problem cards, followed by a link with the number of problems left (“3 more in …”). A column holds six cards; the rest are summarised (“2 more problems”). Select a card to open the problem page, or the link to open the course’s problem list.
The deadline chip turns orange when time is short and red once it has passed. Topics whose hard close has passed are not shown here. Tests that are running show under Open now instead.
When nothing is due in the next four weeks, you see “No deadlines in the next four weeks.”
Your courses
Section titled “Your courses”A card for each course: how many problems you have solved out of all (a ring and “5/12”), how many are still open, and a small chart of problems solved on each of the last 14 days. Select a card to open the course overview.
Recent results
Section titled “Recent results”Your last six submissions and Excel uploads from all courses: the verdict, the problem, tests passed or points, the course, and the time. Select a row to open that result in the course’s Submissions.
When you have no courses
Section titled “When you have no courses”If you are not in any course yet, you see “You’re not in any course yet”. When a teacher or administrator adds you, your problems and deadlines appear here.
If you teach courses but don’t study in any, you see “You don’t study in any course”: this page lists only your work as a student, and the courses you teach are in the sidebar.
