Progress sheet
Your group's progress sheet – which common problems your classmates have solved – what it shows, what it never shows, and when tests appear.
A course’s Progress sheet (address /courses/<course>/sheet) shows the students of your group and how far each of them has got with the course’s common problems. Your teacher decides whether the course shows it: the setting “Students see the progress sheet” is on unless your teacher turned it off. When it is off, the sidebar has no Progress sheet link and the page does not open.
What it shows
Section titled “What it shows”Above the sheet: your group’s name, the number of students and problems, for example “10A · 24 students · 18 problems”.
Each row is one student of your group, in order of family name:
- Student: the avatar and the name. Your own row is highlighted and marked “(you)”.
- Solved: how many of the problems in the sheet the student has solved, out of how many are shown (for example “7/18”).
- a tile for each problem, topic by topic, with the topic names above them.
A tile has one of three states:
| Tile | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Solved | The student has an accepted solution |
| Attempted | The student has submitted, but not solved it yet |
| Not started | No submissions yet |
Pointing at a tile (or moving to it with the arrow keys) shows the problem, its topic, the state and how many of your group solved it. The sheet is read-only: tiles don’t open anything, there are no filters or exports, and the rows are always in name order, never ranked.
Which problems are in it
Section titled “Which problems are in it”- Only the topics that have opened for your group, the same ones as on your problem list.
- Only common problems: everyone in your group has the same ones. Individual and extra problems, Excel tasks and quizzes are not in the sheet; you find yours under Problems and Grades.
- A test appears only after it closes. While a test is in progress, its problems are left out of the whole sheet, so nobody can follow classmates’ progress during it. A line under the sheet says how many tests are in progress.
What it never shows
Section titled “What it never shows”The sheet never shows marks, points, test results, verdicts, how many times anyone submitted, when they worked, their activity or their code. Your classmates see your row in the same way: only the state of each problem.
It shows only your own group. If you were added to the course individually (without a group), you see the other students who were added individually. Students of other groups and other courses, and students removed from the course, are never shown.
When it changes
Section titled “When it changes”The sheet shows the state when you opened the page. Reload it to see newer results.
