Home and activity
The teacher's home with today's numbers and a card per course, and the live feed of student submissions.
Home and Activity appear at the top of the sidebar when you are an owner, teacher, assistant or group admin in at least one course, or administer an organisation that has courses. Both pages only show students you are allowed to see: a group admin sees only the students of their own groups.
Home (/teaching) summarises all your courses. Under the heading you see today’s date, how many submissions (programming submissions and Excel uploads) were made today and how many students were active. “Today” follows Lithuanian time. The numbers update by themselves; there is no need to reload.
staff/teaching/homeTests open now
Section titled “Tests open now”This part only appears while an assessment is running: a card for each assessment-mode topic that has started and not yet ended for at least one of your groups. Each group’s own schedule counts, so an assessment opened early for one group with Open now shows up, and a group closed with Close now drops out. Students enrolled without a group follow the topic’s schedule for everyone.
The card shows the course, the topic and when it ends (for example “Until 10:45”). When the assessment runs for some of your groups only, the card names them (for example “Group A”). Groups that close at different times get a card each. Select the card to open the topic on the course’s Problems page.
A group admin sees only their own groups’ schedules and names.
Student submissions
Section titled “Student submissions”The calendar shows how many submissions and Excel uploads your students made on each day of the last year: the brighter a square, the more work. The heading gives the year’s total. When you teach several courses, pointing at a day shows that day’s busiest courses. You can also pick a day with the arrow keys. No student is named in the calendar.
Your courses
Section titled “Your courses”A card for each course you teach or whose group you lead, including those behind More in the sidebar. Courses you only administer as an organisation admin get no card here. A card shows:
- Taken by: the groups attached to the course (six are shown, the rest as “+N”);
- the number of students;
- today’s submissions (“3 today”, programming submissions and Excel uploads, the same ones the course’s Submissions list shows) and, when there are any, the submissions accepted today (an Excel upload counts when it has full marks) and the students active today;
- Next: the nearest upcoming deadline by each group’s own schedule. When it is due for some groups only, they are named (for example “Next: Loops · Group A · Oct 21”). A topic closed early for a group (Close now) is no longer a deadline for that group. It is highlighted when less than two days remain. Without one it says “No upcoming deadlines”.
Select a card to open the course overview.
If you administer an organisation, a section for each of your organisations follows your courses: see Your organisations on Home.
Activity
Section titled “Activity”Activity (/teaching/activity) is a live feed of your students’ newest submissions and Excel uploads across every course you teach (archived courses are left out). New entries and verdicts arrive within seconds.
staff/teaching/activityToday’s chart
Section titled “Today’s chart”- The bars show submissions per hour. While an assessment with a start and an end is open (for at least one group you can see), the chart shows submissions every 10 minutes from its start.
- Above the chart are today’s verdicts: Submitted, Accepted, Wrong answer, Errors (compilation, runtime, system and other errors), Limits and Being checked.
- An Excel upload with full marks counts as accepted; one checked with fewer points counts as a wrong answer.
Filters
Section titled “Filters”| Filter | Shown when | Selects |
|---|---|---|
| Course | You teach several courses | One course |
| Group | The chosen course has several groups | One group’s students |
| Verdict | Always | Not accepted, one verdict, or Being checked |
Filters are part of the page address, so you can open a filtered feed in a new tab or bookmark it.
The list
Section titled “The list”The 80 newest entries, grouped by day (Today, Yesterday, then dates). A row shows the student, the verdict, the problem, the course mark, the points and the time.
- A programming submission opens in a side panel with the same details as on the Submissions page.
- An Excel upload opens the task’s results page with that student’s uploads.
Pausing updates
Section titled “Pausing updates”The top right shows when the list last changed (for example “Updated 10:42”).
- Select Pause updates: the list and the chart stop changing while you read.
- Select Resume updates: the newest entries appear at once.
If the connection drops, it says “Live updates paused · reconnecting”; the feed resumes once the connection is back.
